Recipe: Simple No Sauce Pizza

My Mom and Dad recently took a trip up to Napa and enjoyed a delightful, simple pizza that was easy for me to re-create. This is a great recipe to make when you're stressed for time and need to get dinner on the table within the hour. With just a few ingredients, you'll have a great meal cooked up in no time.

Simple No Sauce Pizza

Pizza dough (if you don't have time to make fresh dough, Trader Joe's sells some refrigerated dough that you'll just need to roll out or Whole Foods also sells a two pack of pre-packaged-better-than-Boboli-pizza)
1 tbs. olive oil
Bunch of fresh basil, roughly chopped in big pieces
2 fresh tomatoes
1/3-pound of freshly grated Fontina Val D'Aosta Raw Milk Cheese

Directions

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees.

Meanwhile, roll out the pizza dough and drizzle the olive oil over the pizza. Place basil, tomatoes and cheese onto the dough.

Cook for 12-15 minutes.

Enjoy!

  1. I'm obsessed with Heirloom Tomatoes... I bet this would be amazing with them. I dont think they are in season anymore?
